He could pay more attention when answering questions from the Discussion section on page 41, such as "Have you been praised?" and "What is your most memorable praise?" Overall, he was excellent! :)

 Thank you for your feedback! I understand that Rachael found it difficult to pronounce words like "ram" and "pan" without first learning the base sounds of "am" and "an."  If he doesn't encounter the new words often enough in different situations, it can be harder for him to remember them. He needs to use the words repeatedly in speaking, reading, and writing to help reinforce them. Also, if the words are taught by themselves without connecting them to things he experiences in daily life, it can be more difficult for him to remember and understand how to use the words.

 No worries! He does have a bit of trouble remembering new words during class, and it seems he often forgets them when reviewing after. To help him improve, we can use a few strategies: encouraging repetition throughout the day, using visual aids like flashcards with pictures to make the words more memorable, and incorporating the new words into simple sentences. This way, he’ll practice both vocabulary and sentence structure, which should help with retention.
